David Keith Marshall worked as Director at Digital Integration Limited from 21 June 1991 to 13 August 1999. In honour of Dave, as he is fondly known, I have created an interactive 5Mb photo-mosaic that celebrates his life. The photomosaic consists of 10,000 screenshots of the Tornado, a PC game dear to Dave's heart. I bid farewell and au revoir, to a pilot, aerospace engineer, UK and world flight simulator pioneer, computer hobbyist, game designer and programmer, CHIEF BOFFIN, creative genius, manual writer, Tornado simulator consultant to RAF and Marconi, Company director, businessman, X-Plane scenery designer, cancer FIGHTER, musician, banjo player and teacher, family provider, loving husband and father.

HIGH FLIGHT by John Gillespie Magee, Jr

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
of sun-split clouds, — and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of — wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov’ring there,
I’ve chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air....

Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace.
Where never lark, or even eagle flew —
And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
- Put out my hand, and touched the face of God."
